Your wedding recessional is the song your DJ or musician will play when you are first announced as newlyweds.
Decide if your song will be upbeat and ignite the festivities for the rest of the day or be soft and romantic and make your guests say “aww.”
Your entertainment will need to coordinate with your officiant to ensure their timing is aligned. This will prevent the song from starting prematurely. We suggest choosing a sentence or word to signal it’s go-time.
The song should be long enough to continue playing while you, your bridal party and family exit the ceremony. If your song is too short or you have the DJ play from a point in the middle or end, it may end too quickly.
